The Viva La Vulva Soothing Postpartum Ice Packs have been specifically designed and contoured to fit "down there" to help you ‘chill’ comfortably. Cold therapy is a safe and natural way to soothe pain and reduce swelling from postpartum tearing, hemorrhoids, and wounds. You got this mama!
Each pack includes 2 x specifically designed reusable gel bead packs and 3 x washable soft outer sleeves. They are reusable, washable, freezable, and microwavable.
These cold packs provide instant relief, reduce swelling and promote healing. They're suitable for postpartum tearing, episiotomy, cesarean section, hemorrhoids, and soothing breast pain.
FOR VAGINAL & C-SECTION DELIVERY - Have ready to go in the freezer before birth. Pop on outside your pad and underwear to help reduce vaginal swelling and soreness. You can even wear two pairs of undies one to help keep in place if you want to or just simply pop on lying down. Don’t pop ice pack directly on your bare skin; make sure you’re using the washable soft pink sleeves provided.
FOR C-SECTION - Pop packs in the fridge for an hour or so. Once cold (not frozen), apply to c-section incision; don’t place it directly on skin - pop a towel in between. Helps soothe swelling and itching sensations. If you deliver via c-section your vulva will still need heaps of love!
HOT MAMA TIP - Once you are healed and feeling good, you can keep these as ice packs great for headaches or they can be heated up for a little extra muscle tension relief in other places!
